Ready when you are
No registration or password setup required. The page generates a natural-looking random email and checks for new messages every few seconds.
Two addresses · One quiet inbox
Use an anonymous inbox for temporary tasks and a forwarding alias for ongoing communication. Choose a way to start without handing your everyday email to every website.

Anonymous disposable email
These demo messages preview an empty inbox and do not count as real mail. Real messages replace them automatically.
Hi,
Someone is signing in to your Microsoft account on a new device. Enter this code in the sign-in window to continue:
482 731
The code expires in 10 minutes. If this was not you, ignore this message and review your account security.
Maya Chen mentioned you in #project-aurora in the Northstar workspace:
“@you the environment variables were updated — could you check whether the deploy script needs a matching change?”

Confirm email addressThe link is valid for 24 hours. If the button does not work, copy the link at the bottom of the email into your browser.
Permanent email forwarding
Incoming mail is sent automatically to your real inbox. If an alias attracts spam, pause just that alias instead of changing your primary email.
Share one less identity clue
Not every form needs your everyday email. Fwdaway gives temporary addresses the one-off verification and inbox tasks, keeping account testing, downloads, and unfamiliar services separate.
No registration or password setup required. The page generates a natural-looking random email and checks for new messages every few seconds.
The default lifetime is 3 hours and can be reset when needed. Each address lasts no longer than 24 hours. When it expires, the address and its messages are deleted.
Disposable email can receive mail but cannot send it. Use it to reduce marketing tracking and spam—not to impersonate someone or bypass platform rules.
From address to verification code
Click the main button and enter the address on the website where you need to register, verify an account, or download something.
No need to refresh repeatedly. New messages appear in the list automatically, or you can click “Check for new mail.”
Retrieve the code or confirmation link. When you’re done, change the address immediately or let the inbox expire on schedule.
Good uses for disposable email
When you need an address that lasts
Permanent forwarding aliases are ideal for shopping, job applications, memberships, and other ongoing relationships. Use a different alias for each website to spot spam at a glance and pause it individually.
Enter the real email where you want forwarded messages delivered. Your account is created automatically the first time you sign in—we never ask you to set a password.
The code has 6 digits and can be resent after 60 seconds. Sessions last up to 7 days; accounts with two-step verification also require a one-time passcode.
Know the boundaries
Disposable email is short-term, lightweight, and easy to forget; forwarding aliases are for ongoing relationships. Understand how each stores mail before choosing.
The list indicates when the original message includes an attachment, but attachment contents are not stored or downloaded. Messages over 100 MB are rejected.
Messages up to 50 MB are forwarded and archived with attachments; 50–100 MB messages are forwarded without retaining attachments; messages over 100 MB are rejected.
Fwdaway is not an outbound email service. Neither disposable addresses nor forwarding aliases can be used to send email proactively.
Pick the right tool
The most common question behind searches like “temp mail vs email alias” is simply which tool fits which task. One table settles it — most spam starts with the wrong choice.
| Dimension | Temporary inbox | Forwarding alias | Your real address |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lifetime | 3 hours, up to 24 max | Permanent, pause any time | Permanent |
| Account needed | None | Email code sign-in, no password | — |
| Password resets later | No — gone at expiry | Yes — mail reaches your real inbox | Yes |
| Best for | Codes, trials, downloads | Shopping, job hunting, newsletters | Banking, health, work |
| Spam isolation | Throw the address away | Pause one alias per source | None |
Both Fwdaway address types are receive-only. They cannot send mail or impersonate anyone.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, as long as the sender allows delivery to the domain, verification codes usually arrive within seconds. Some platforms block disposable email domains, which is their registration policy and cannot be bypassed by Fwdaway.
First, make sure the address was copied correctly and click “Check for new mail.” Mail providers occasionally delay delivery. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, request another message from the sender or try again with a new disposable address.
Yes. Access credentials are stored in both the current link and your browser locally, so you can continue accessing the inbox while the address is active. Don’t share the full link containing the credentials—anyone with it can view the inbox.
No. Once the address expires, it cannot be recovered and cannot support long-term tasks such as password resets. Use a real email or forwarding alias that you control long term for banking, healthcare, work, and accounts requiring ongoing recovery access.
Senders only see the Fwdaway alias you provide, and the system forwards messages to your real inbox. Replies may reveal your real address, so check the sender information shown by your mail client before replying.
